The training project for all those wishing to investigate the topic of community empowerment with a view to growing their business activity.

On the eve of the second edition, we were appointed by SCA to redesign their visual identity.
Initially, we focused on an in-depth definition of their respective target, competitive scenarios, and positioning.
Following this phase of analysis, we suggested going to work on the name, which eventually led to the acronym SCA - shorter and punchier than the previous one: “Scuola delle Cascine Aperte”.

Finally, we shaped an identity capable of triggering a feeling of familiarity and belonging within their target, but also able to convey such themes as social innovation, training, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange.

Creatively speaking, the essential point, right from the start of the project, was to optimize the communication of the community empowerment theme.
Our work was based on the local environment and its multiple expressions, drawing inspiration from the places, people, and organizations the SCA project addresses.
Once we had extrapolated abstract shapes recalling the idea of “community places”, we decided to convey the concept of “community empowerment” by overlapping these shapes which, on making contact, generated new colours and shapes of their own.

The result is a dynamic new identity for SCA, one that is particularly well suited to thriving in a digital context, thanks to possibilities for animation provided by its shapes and elements.
